At the end of the road, railway lines reach out toward the sacred maunga — the mountains whose presence called me back to Aotearoa.
Here in Te Waipounamu, Earth Mother (Papa-tū-ānuku) and Sky Father (Rangi) meet in a timeless embrace of mist and cloud. Each day I offer gratitude for their beauty — for the way the mountains remind me where I belong.
A journey begins where the earth meets sky,
Steel tracks hum soft as dreams pass by,
The mountains whisper, “You are known,”
